BETA
The product

Not just a simulator.
A network digital twin.

netplex. is emulation, execution and automation in one event-driven platform. Here's the whole thing - the canvas, the consoles, the pipeline, the automation toolbox and the fabric.

The canvas is the product

A topology you'll actually
want to look at.

Premium, flat, dark-first. Drag nodes, draw links in four styles, annotate, and watch live packet flow stream across the fabric - all on a circuit-board canvas built for engineers reading dense screens at 2am.

  • Curve · Arc · Ortho · Straight links; parallel links fan out
  • Live link flow - see traffic move, not invented Gbps numbers
  • Export to SVG, PNG (2×) or JSON - Visio / draw.io friendly
  • Presentation mode - laser, pen, arrows, shapes & spotlight over your live topology · Professional+

Six themes, one product

Recolour the entire app -
panels, canvas, nodes and all.

Three dark, three light. Every theme defines a complete token set, so the whole interface - not just the background - moves with it. Pick a UI accent too. Try it from the appearance gear in the nav.

The image pipeline

Drop an image. Walk away.

EVE-NG made you SSH in, juggle files and run fixpermissions. netplex. does the whole thing - convert, set permissions, organise, boot-test - and shows you every step. No CLI.

Auto-classify

Matches the upload against 140+ device kinds across 65+ vendors and gives it a human name - never vios-adventerprisek9-m.SPA…

Disk-guarded

Refuses an upload before it fills your disk: "Only 8.2 GB free - needs ≥10 GB." A precise, actionable message, never a stack trace.

Boot-tested

Every image boots headless before it's marked Ready. If it fails, you get what happened, why, and what to do - plus "email me the fix."

140+ device kinds · 65+ vendors

Bring your own licensed images.
We handle the rest.

From core routers to next-gen firewalls and white-box NOS. Alpine MicroVM ships free and built-in; vendor images are user-provided, and the pipeline classifies, converts and boot-tests them automatically.

All vendor names and marks belong to their respective owners and are shown to indicate supported device definitions only.

Integrated consoles

No PuTTY. No SecureCRT.
Just talk to your nodes.

Dockable, tabbed, tiled consoles right in the browser - pop them into their own window, theme them like your favourite terminal, and type once to send to every selected session.

  • Group-send / broadcast across sessions
  • 8 colour schemes, syntax highlighting, snippet bar

API-first · full toolbox on Architect

Everything the UI does
is an API call.

Drive netplex. from your own tooling. A full REST + WebSocket API, API keys, a CLI and CI-ready lab tests ship today; the Terraform provider and Ansible collection are in beta - the complete automation toolbox, on a single Architect seat.

CLITerraformAnsibleREST + WSCI / CDGit-as-code
The Architect toolbox

A single seat. The whole toolbox.

Architect holds nothing back. There's no reason to cripple a single-seat licence - you get every automation surface we ship.

Full tc/netem QoS

Delay, jitter, loss, corruption, duplication and a bandwidth cap on every link. Serious WAN simulation, not a toy.

Cloud topology templates

AWS VPC, SD-WAN multi-site and Hub-and-spoke - netplex.-maintained, built in, ready to spin up.

MicroVM nodes · beta

Kata / Firecracker MicroVMs for lightweight Linux nodes. Alpine ships free and built-in; build your own Ubuntu image.

IPv6 labs

OSPFv3, BGP4+, SLAAC/DHCPv6 and SRv6 run natively between your nodes over the L2 fabric today. First-class dual-stack tooling - lab templates, canvas labels and an IPv6 NAT gateway - is in development (see the roadmap).

The stitch - distributed fabricRoadmap · beta

Two machines.
One topology.

The headline differentiator nobody else does. A single lab spans several cheap PCs and cloud VMs - netplex. stitches their virtual switches together with VXLAN tunnels, so a link between nodes on different machines just works.

Distributed multi-chassis VXLAN is on the roadmap and currently in beta. Single-host emulation, automation and the full Architect toolbox ship today.

  • Scheduler places nodes by free CPU / RAM across hosts
  • A host dropping degrades only its nodes - the lab keeps running

The link doesn't care which machine a node lives on.

See it on your own machine.

Start on the free Associate tier, import an EVE-NG lab, and explore the whole platform in minutes.
